ArcGIS Pro 3.7: Increased Productivity, AI, and Advanced 3D Management

Esri has announced the release of ArcGIS Pro 3.7 (May 2026), the latest version of the desktop GIS platform, which introduces significant improvements for geospatial analysis, 3D workflows, and advanced spatial data management.

Among the most interesting new features are:

  • greater control over map layout management;
  • new AI functions to extract information from scanned maps;
  • improvements in BIM and CAD data management;
  • optimizations for 3D content and reality mapping;
  • increased performance thanks to the transition to .NET 10.

One of the features most requested by users is the ability to manage layer visibility on a per-map-frame basis, simplifying the creation of complex layouts and map books without duplicating project maps.

Particular attention has also been paid to 3D workflows and Digital Twin.

ArcGIS Pro 3.7 improves the management of high-definition 3D models and introduces new optimizations for Gaussian Splatting and reality mapping technologies, which are increasingly used for realistic representations of buildings, infrastructure, and landscapes.

There are also significant new developments in digitization and data extraction: the new tools allow you to automatically extract geographic features from raster maps and historical maps, reducing both time and manual effort.

The result?

  1. Faster and more efficient GIS workflows;
  2. greater integration between GIS, CAD, and BIM data;
  3. increasingly advanced tools for Smart Cities, Digital Twins, and territorial monitoring.

ArcGIS Pro thus continues its evolution toward increasingly integrated, automated GIS platforms geared toward the intelligent management of geospatial data.
