Value added Images and products area – Missione EROS A

IPT distributes Satellite EROS A images that have been directly received by the IPT Villagrande Strisaili Multimission Station in Sardinia which covers the entire Mediterranean basin. The different types of images obtained by the EROS Satellite are listed here below:

Panchromatic Images	Dimensions	Remarks
Basic Image	14 km x 14 km	1.9 meter ground sampling distance (GSD) at nadir
Vector Image	14 km x up to about 150 km	Length depends on the integration time (Between 14-150 km). The length of the vector scene affects the GSD toward the edges (in symmetric scanning).
Stereo Pair		Two overlapped images (Basic, Vector or Hypersampled-factor-2) of the same scene, acquired at symmetric or non-symmetric different viewing angles (fore and aft) during the same pass.
Triplet		Two Stereo images + one overhead image: Standard or Hypersampled-factor-2, of the same scene, acquired during the same pass. It is possible to acquire multiple images of the same scene in basic mode (for example two stereo pairs) in the same pass.
2-Axis Hypersampled (factor 2)	10 km x 10 km	Approximately 1.4-meter ground sampling distance (GSD) at nadir
2-Axis Hypersampled (factor 4)	10 km x 10 km	Approximately 1-meter ground sampling distance (GSD) at nadir

Value added Images and products area – Other Missions

IPT markets data obtained from thirteen satellite missions including EROS, Ikonos, Quickbird, Spot, IRS, Landsat, Resurs, Tiros-Avhrr, Jers, ERS, Envisat, and Radarsat. Such data is both that acquired from the IPT receiving station in Sardinia (the only high resolution receiving station operating in the Mediterranean area for the EROS mission) and that dealt with by IPT as distributor for leading companies in this sector. IPT remote sensing laboratories put at the disposal of their customers, professionalism and state-of-the-art technological tools for handling the acquired images and creating value added products such as, georeferenced images, orthorectified maps, DEM (Digital Elevation Models), numerical digital cartography, Thematic Maps, etc

Territorial Information System can assimilate a wide range of data: registry, cartographical, fiscal, property, cadastral, technological networks, etc. through dynamic databanks.
